God Prepares the Way

Deuteronomy 31:8 NIV

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; 

he will never leave you nor forsake you.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

 

Lord,

Thank you for going before me. Thank you for preparing a way for me and always being with me.  So often, I feel alone and afraid and discouraged. Help me to feel Your love and strength around me and know that You are with me.  I’ve seen Your love and Your hand in my life; leading me and opening and closing doors to help my find my way. Remind me of those times.  Remind me that You are always in control and most of all remind me of Your endless, boundless love. Not a generic love for all of humanity or for all Christians, but a personal love for me.
